Description: The World Bank provided funding of US $ 250 Million in 2009 to the Government of Pakistan (GOP) for Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) III for (i) Social mobilization and Institution Building, (ii) Livelihood enhancement and protection, (iii) Micro-credit Access (iv) Basic Services & Infrastructure; and (v) Project Implementation Support. The objective of the assignment is to review Basic Services & Infrastructure component of PPAF III that whether the changed policies, procedures and processes implemented by the PPAF III for Bank funds are adequate to cover the agreed implementation arrangements for PPAF III and that whether these are properly applied.
