The objective of installation of the incinerator is to promote cleaner practices and complete combustion of infectious hospital wastes. The project will help to overcome the infectious waste management and disposal problems under the infection control program of Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department, Government of Punjab The project consists of installation, commissioning and operation of 100 kg/hr incinerator (MP 500, Add field Environmental Systems Limited, UK).
