Narrative Description of Project: The Feasibility Study Report of the project has already been approved by POE (Panel of Experts) for construction of 1.95 MW Naushera Hydro Power Plant on Naushera Nullah which is a right bank tributary of Jhelum River around 5km upstream of Ghari Dupatta in tehsil and district Muzaffarabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir.The objective of the project is to exploit the existing water resources of Jhelum River for development of hydroelectric power to meet the requirement of community living in Ghari Dupatta and adjoining areas of Muzaffarabad.
