Description: Deutsche Gesellschaftfür Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH – Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency program in Pakistan has to promote renewable energy technologies and industrial energy efficiency. The program supports its partners, both from the public as well as private sectors, in promoting solar energy, hydropower and biomass applications in Pakistan. One of the focus areas of technical assistance and support for rural electrification projects is the introduction and dissemination of Productive Use of Renewable Energy (PURE) for the social and economic development of the rural and remote seven communities in Chitral.
