- Waste Amount Characterization Survey in Sargodha, Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffargarh, Bahawalapur and Rahim Yar Khan (this included waste characterization at existing GTSs)
- Waste Characterization study at Landfill sites of each city
- Chemical Samples preparation from waste and submission to lab for chemical analysis (Moisture content, Ultimate and Proximate Analysis) as per ASTM.
- Quantification of the solid waste generation and composition from various sources, i.e. commercial (business and vegetable markets), residential (lower income group, middle-income group and higher income group) and other institutions (academia and clinics).
Recommendations formulation based on findings of the study for the potential use of waste stream as a resource.
